A buzz about learning and being a sharing community

There has been a real buzz around the building this week as students have got stuck into learning at Outwood Bishopsgarth.

.Extracting DNA from strawberries in science, responding to feedback in English and pattern printing in textiles are just some of the exciting ways that our young people have been demonstrating their skills and knowledge.

We are always delighted that our students wear their uniform with pride, and it is great that parents and carers across Teesside support each other by sharing good condition, but outgrown, uniform to other families. Parents and carers wishing to take part in this can link with others via the Outwood Academy Uniform – Teesside Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/outwoodacademyuniform/

Mr Maher, our Associate Vice Principal, also had fun delivering doughnuts to the tutor groups with the highest attendance – well done Kenya, Fiji and Papua New Guinea!
