Our Year 11 students who will soon be taking their first steps in their future careers ensuring they become the very best possible citizens within the community.
As part of our commitment at Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth to put students first in everything we do, we work with many external agencies to help develop our students
and give them the skills and knowledge to succeed.
We are delighted to share the great news that we have agreed a partnership with the National Citizen Service (NCS – more details here) who will give our Year 11 students the opportunity to develop their confidence and give many skills that will unleash the potential of the students who take part in the programme this summer.
A letter from Mr Maher and the NCS has been shared with parents, and is also available in the letters section of our website, and provides more details about the NCS programme and students are encouraged to consider signing up to this scheme. We will host a number of assemblies and drop in sessions over the coming weeks which will help inform and encourage participation.
