The Library has a growing collection of diverse fiction and non-fiction books, students can borrow books for both homework and personal reading. Students can access their online ECLIPSE library account in school or at home using their personal log on for more information.
Computer/ipad access is also available daily before school, and after school on a Monday and Friday, as well as at break for students to read, do research or complete their homework.

Accelerated Reader Scheme
The Accelerated Reader (AR) scheme encourages Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students to enjoy reading a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books that are available in the academy library, thereby supporting literacy in all areas of the curriculum.
Library staff and teachers have worked hard in promoting reading and understanding using books and online quizzes to ensure progression in the AR programme.

There are several enrichment programs run by the library.
Homework Club: Monday and Friday, 2:30 until 3:30 pm
Students can access the Library as and when they need to on both of these days.
Student Librarians: Wednesday, 2:30 pm until 3:30 pm.
Book Club: Thursday, 2:30 until 3:30 pm.
The Student Voice have organised a Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 20th December. Students are asked to wear a Christmas jumper and donate £1 to raise money for the Butterwick Hospice.
