To help our year 7 students settle in to a new school, we stagger the return to the new school year.
Year 7 and year 11 students will return on TBC.
All students will return to the Academy on TBC.

Your child's safety and education are at the forefront of everything we do at Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth and we can't wait to meet each and every one of them!!

To make the transition process easier, we ask that all Parents / Carers complete the data collection form. Please, complete this as promptly as possible, as these forms are vital to ensure that your child has the best possible start with us and enables them to access all school services, including school dinners and provides us with important information such as emergency contacts and any medical issues. A data collection form can also be collected from the Academy's Reception.

There are a number of ways that parents and students can keep up to date with what is happening within the academy, what events are coming up and what letters and other information have been sent home. You can view our website,  follow or 'like' our Facebook page: Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth and stay tuned for our new parent communication system, Arbor.

We will provide a free uniform bundle to each Year 7 student when they start school. As students grow out of their uniform, parents / carers will be expected to buy official replacements from our supplier https://www.trutex.com/.

Year 6 Uniform Event (time slots to be allocated from 15:30) - TBC

Please find here a copy of the Outwood Grange Academies Trust Hardship Policy and Application Form which details financial help that may be available towards the cost of any additional uniform. Once an application has been submitted to the Academy, a letter will be sent out confirming if it has been successful.  Any successful applications will receive a code to be used online to access the discounted prices. 

Please be aware that uniform orders are to be made online only as we no longer sell uniform direct to parents from the academy.
